Industry leading technology
Viasat DSP cores increase optical channel throughput for 1T and beyond to eliminate optical communications impairments like chromatic dispersion (CD), polarization-mode dispersion (PMD), and self-phase modulation (SPM). Because traditional coherent optical compensation techniques are expensive and complex, electronic compensation is a lower cost, simpler approach to restoring eye diagrams.
